The luminosity duration of the Chromalight display is almost double that of a standard luminescent material and can extend beyond eight hours. The intensity of the luminosity is also more consistent over the entire emission time.
Introduced in 2008 on the Rolex Deepsea divers’ watch, the luminescent Chromalight display is distinguishable by its blue colour. It features today on virtually all the Professional models and, since 2015, on the new generations of classic models in the Oyster collection.
